IT Consultancy Rates

United Kingdom: £40.00 Per Hour + VAT
(Special rates available by arrangement)

Non-UK assignments are payable at the same hourly rate, but are also subject to related expenses, including but not limited to: Travel costs, accommodation and subsistence.

Overtime rates, On-call fees and Shift Allowances can be negotiated on a per-contract basis. In most cases these incur no additional charges (except where non-UK assignments are applicable).

Please note that the hourly fee(s) quoted are subject to additional Agency tariffs where applicable.

Website Hosting

Forget the 5 to 50 megabyte, one e-mail address web hosting packages on offer by our competitors! Give your site room to grow.

The Web-Hosting Service Provider's package currently includes:-

• 250 MB of web space.
• Up to 25 sub-domains.
• Up to 100 e-mail accounts.
• Unlimited e-mail auto-forwarders and auto-responders.
• Full RealPlayer G2 streaming video support.
• Full CGI scripting support, including access to a broad range of useful scripting tools.
• All functions handled from an easy-to-use menu system called the "Personal Control Panel".
• Hosting run on high-quality Unix-based Sun Microsystems / SuperMicros.
• MySQL database and PHP scripting support.

For £250+VAT per year. You can either have Netpark purchase and configure your virtual server or alternatively you can set up the service yourself (for a small one-time fee, we can assist you with this).

Why should I let Netpark set up my virtual server on my behalf?

There are several benefits to using this method:-

• Netpark Ltd handles any variation in the exchange rate between $US and British sterling, in the purchase of your preferred web hosting solution. This means we can quote you a firm price, instead of a "best estimate", based on exchange rates at the time of estimate.
  
• Netpark can automatically handle renewal of your preferred web hosting solution, having first confirmed with you (at least 14 days in advance) that you wish to renew. This means that there is no loss of service due to service expiration / renewal and ensures a smooth transition from one renewal period to the next.
  
• For new web clients, we will perform all initial configuration of your new preferred web hosting solution, free of charge (this service is normally chargeable at £25 +VAT).
  
• For new web clients, we will provide up to 12 hours per-year of webserver maintenance, free of charge (this service is normally chargeable on an hourly basis at £25 per hour +VAT).

Please note that we are required by law to charge VAT at a current rate of 17.5% on all resold web hosting solutions.

What if I would rather purchase my preferred web hosting package directly from an ISP?

No problem!  We are happy to help, and will arrange a convenient time, to step you through the online process to help you purchase your preferred web hosting solution directly from your preferred ISP. For web customers, this service is provided free of charge! (Non-web customers are required to pay a setup fee of £25+VAT)

This purchase-of-service arrangement is then between you and your preferred ISP. If your preferred ISP is based outside the European Union, this type of direct purchase will NOT be subject to VAT.  This option may therefore be better suited to clients who (for one reason or another), are unable to reclaim VAT from HM Customs and Excise

You will however:-

• Be possibly subject to some small variation in price, due to any fluctuation of the applicable foreign currency (e.g US$) / British Sterling exchange rate.
  
• Need to process any service renewal(s) yourself (Netpark Ltd can assist you in performing your service renewal for a fee of £30 +VAT).
  
• Need to configure your server yourself (or allow Netpark Ltd to perform your server configuration for a one-off fee of £30 per hour +VAT).
  
• Need to deal directly with your ISP regarding technical issues and / or queries. (or allow Netpark Ltd to deal with your ISP on your behalf for a fee of £30 per incident +VAT).

I already have a website - can Netpark provide first-line support for my server?

Unfortunately, due to the enormous range of server / hosting configurations and options now available, we  do not normally provide first-line support services for servers that we haven't supplied, on a support-only basis. We do however offer contract-based first-line support for clients who commission website design / redesign / support work. 

First-line technical support for servers not supplied by Netpark Ltd is chargeable at a basic fee of £25+vat per month (payable in arrears on presentation of a monthly invoice), which covers the following:-

• A once daily check that the website is functioning correctly.
• A once daily check that the POP3 e-mail accounts are receiving e-mail correctly.
• Periodic server checks and simple preventative maintenance.
• Ad-hoc creation of new e-mail accounts, autoforwards and responders.
• Ad-hoc amendments to spam filters.
• Extract / supply of website statistics upon request.
• First line problem research/testing.

Please note that calls that require escallation to the hosting company will be charged at an additional fee of £25+vat per support call logged. This single fee covers the administration overhead required to follow the support call to completion on behalf of the client.

Platinum Page Package - Only £180 Per Page! - Includes:-

The Platinum Package includes all features currently offered in the Gold Package, and these additional items:-

• An additional 250 words per page. (1000 words per page in total).
• An additional 5 buttons per page (15 buttons per page in Total).
